SEMICONDUCTOR DIE & WAFER SALES DD&S is an Authorized Reseller of semiconductor die and wafers, focused on Memory Products. We are dedicated to the sales and service of select die and wafers produced by our preferred “partner” manufacturers. This select market for die/wafer sales and service, represents our defined focus. We do business as an Authorized Reseller of die and wafers with full cooperation from and access to the Manufacturer’s representatives and FAE team, including access to “allocated” products. These manufacturer/reseller working relationships allow for the placement of “Factory Direct” orders which have managed factory backlog on hand. WAFER/CHIP (die) STORAGE and SHIPPING SYSTEM Our system accommodates 10,000 150 mm, 7,000 200 mm or 5,000 300 mm wafers or combinations of these sizes. All handling is performed using the Manufacturer’s wafer transports or Fluoroware wafer transports. Wafer transports are stored in N2 purged cabinets fully sealed with controlled flow. Wafers are never removed from original packaging to insure cleanliness. Wafer die maps, electronic and hard copy, are shipped with product and confirmed separately. Inventory database includes wafer ID, test data, date of manufacture, batch ID when available, location produced, inspection data and shipping information. BUSINESS CONCEPT DD & S operates with a small efficient staff. Orders are normally large in dollar volume and scheduled strictly on a non-cancelable basis. Therefore, particular attention is paid to the acceptance of the specification prior to finalizing the purchase order.
